How do I choose what sensors to include in my system?
Your alarm system is personalized by you. The majority of break-ins occur through entry doors, so at the absolute minimum, you should have sensors located at those areas. Depending on the layout of your home, you may be able to cover certain areas with motion and glassbreak sensors. What happens if the power in my home goes out?
The system has a backup battery that automatically provides power to your alarm system for approximately 8 hours, depending on the number of sensors you have in your system. [back to top]
Will the system let me know if anything in my system has a low battery?
Yes, the system monitors the voltage of your batteries and will send a low battery signal to the central station (if the system is monitored) and annunciates a trouble condition at the keypad. [back to top]
Does the backup battery recharge after a power outage?

Will the smoke detectors I already have in my home work with the alarm system?

Do I have to have the alarm system armed for the smoke sensors and CO sensors to work?
No, the smoke and CO sensors are working for you whether your system is armed or not. They will send a signal to the alarm panel whenever they sense an event, thus sending a fire alarm signal to the central monitoring station. [back to top]
Do I need to have a phone line to have the system monitored?
No, our alarm panel has a built-in module which communicates with the central station, as long as you have cell phone coverage in your area. [back to top]
How do you monitor my alarm system?
The cellular module in our alarm panel contacts the central monitored station. Our certified dispatchers are there for you 24/7 and will call upon receipt of an alarm and dispatch personnel if necessary. If you set of the alarm by accident, don't worry. How do I know the system is working once I've installed it?
